Mini Moderns have created a new bedding range based on four of their most popular print designs. ‘Pavilion’, ‘Whitby’, ‘Pet Sounds’ and ‘Darjeeling’. The collection is available in single, double, kingsize and superking duvet sizes in 200 thread count premium cotton.
Keith and Mark explain: “We had always wanted to create a bedding collection but it wasn’t until we discovered a manufacturer in the UK that was able to work with us, that the range could become a reality. Producing as much as we can in the UK has always been our priority – so we are really excited about it.
The collection is ideal for people who love our prints but may not feel like they want to commit to, or are unable to, wallpaper their homes – and it is a great way of a quick make-over for a bedroom”.
Whitby
Inspired by 1950s linocuts, the bold wave motif of our Whitby design captures the majesty of the open sea. Printed in our signature Washed Denim colourway on luxurious 200 thread count premium cotton, it brings a bit of seaside calm to bedtime.
Darjeeling
This design made its debut in our Buddha of Suburbia collection. In this fresh Lido colourway, our Darjeeling bedding is a riot of tessellated eastern motifs – a real Mini Moderns favourite.
Pavilion
The abstract lines and dots of our Pavilion print are inspired by the 1951 Festival of Britain’s Abacus masking screen, designed by Edward Mills, and the Transport Pavilion by Rodney Thomas. It looks great with our Festival wallpaper.
Pet Sounds
The idea for our woodland cacophony of music making creatures first came to us on holiday amongst the redwoods of America’s West Coast. In everyone’s favourite
Harvest Orange colourway, Pet Sounds quickly became the hero print of our
Folk Rock collection.
